Smart water meter manufacturer Tengyue Metering has completed a smart water meter project in São Paulo, eastern Brazil.
This project involved the installation of 310 TS14W ultrasonic smart water meters in residential areas of São Paulo, marking a significant advancement in water management and digitalization in the region.
Tengyue Metering’s new TS14W ultrasonic smart water meter, launched in 2024, enables real-time water consumption monitoring, leak detection, and water network optimization.
The TS14W ultrasonic smart water meter is based on LoRaWAN technology and has a designed battery life of 15 years.
The meter offers three installation and maintenance modes: Installation Mode, where installers access basic settings and data using a dedicated tool; Test Mode, for accuracy testing; and Standard Mode, for daily operation and triggering alarms.
These alarms include leaks, potential ruptures, reverse flow, and exceeding maximum flow.
The TS14W ultrasonic smart water meter is integrated into the AMI network platform, enabling visualization and export of key data and device management. Customers can also access detailed information about their water usage, helping them adopt more sustainable and responsible water practices.
The deployment of Tengyue Metering’s smart water meters aligns with sustainable development policies and resource conservation initiatives, further demonstrating the project’s commitment to innovation and modernizing water infrastructure, contributing to the development of a smart city capable of meeting future challenges.
